Simple to process and easy to obtain. What are the commonly used carbon steels?

Before going over the characteristics of carbon steel, let's sort out the definition of steel. Steel is an alloy based on iron. Iron is brittle and rusty in its pure state and cannot be used as an industrial product. Therefore, carbon "C", as well as manganese and phosphorus, are usually added to iron in an alloy state. "Steel" refers to materials with a carbon content of approximately 0.02% to 2.14%.
